Eric Sieczka, President & CEO
Mr. Sieczka has spent the past 15 years commercializing technologies and building Michigan-based enterprises. His experience ranges from technology creation, product development, operations management, and financing. Most recently he was with EOTech Inc, a leading provider of holographic weapon sights, where he built the operations from a start-up product concept into a world-class, fully integrated manufacturing facility with optical, electrical, and mechanical design capabilities servicing markets around the globe. Mr. Sieczka has eight patents and holds a BSEE degree from Kettering Institute and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
David McCubbrey, Vice President and CTO
Mr. McCubbrey has an unusually broad set of expertise, gained through over two decades of leading-edge problem solving for industry and government customers in the areas of remote-sensing, real-time machine vision, security, automotive, and biomedical industries. Prior to co-founding Pixel Velocity, Mr. McCubbrey was with the Environment Institute of Michigan (ERIM) for over 25 years, where he led projects involving system engineering, embedded systems development, VLSI/FPGA design, and development of image processing hardware architectures and algorithms. Mr. McCubbrey has authored ten patents in image processing architectures and algorithms and holds a BSE in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
William Beach, Vice President of Sales
As the company's Vice President of Sales, Mr. Beach will lead and manage all sales and business development activities. Prior to joining Pixel Velocity, Mr. Beach had spent 21 years at Andover Controls and Integral Technologies. At Andover Controls, Mr. Beach began his career by developing the international sales channels for Andover Controls' building management systems products. After that, Mr. Beach launched Andover Controls' security division serving North America and led the development of an independent partner channel for its line of enterprise access control products. Following the acquisition of Integral Technologies in 2001, Mr. Beach was responsible for integrating Andover Controls' security division into Integral Technologies and then headed the sales team of the combined entity. In 2007, Mr. Beach launched Integral Technologies' Global Strategic Accounts Group and was responsible for developing and managing relationships with end users having a national/global footprint. Mr. Beach holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
James Hamilton, PhD, Chief Scientist
Dr. Hamilton joined Pixel in 2005 as the chief scientist of medical imaging programs. Dr. Hamilton provides technical leadership in identifying advanced research opportunities for Pixel Velocity's image processing technologies. He has been developing state of the art imaging systems for the medical, defense and scientific communities for the past 14 years. Prior to joining Pixel Velocity, Dr. Hamilton worked in the GE Medical Systems ultrasound group, working on next generation blood flow imaging and image quality enhancements, and at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems where he developed wavefront sensing techniques for electro-optic systems and image restoration algorithms for radar and optical imagery. He holds a B.S. degree from the University of Rochester, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan. He has authored numerous journal publications and holds four patents.
